Currently living in the US and studying Business Analytics and Risk Management at Johns Hopkins University, Channery Van was engaged in Bihani in the field of marketing in 2017 through AIESEC Nepal.
“Johns Hopkins is absolutely one of the best universities in the world. It really cares for the students and gives a lot of resource for students to explore themselves. My time in Bihani has impacted me a lot. I still remembered the elders’ smiles and how they sang a song for us. We did their makeup which made them very happy. It was a very beautiful moment; a form of sunshine in my life. I realised that my knowledge could help others and contribute towards more benefits for the community. Also, my efforts can make people delighted and make a difference. That’s something I want to continue doing in my career and something I’m proud of.”
