Inspiration Series Post dedicated by Sara Maharjan, student of Bachelor’s in Community Development at Kathmandu University School of Arts to her dear Grandmother as part of, ‘Caring for Elderly’ Course Work.
“The person who inspires me the most among all my family members is my grandmother. She has 8 grandchildren and she loves us all equally. We call her ‘Maa’. She is one of the strongest people in my family. She is very kind and brave. Since I was 6 years old I started living with her. She helps everyone, whoever is in need. Most of the people know her because of her kindness and her helpful behavior.”
“Maa, thank you for everything. Though the words ‘thank you’ are not enough compared to the unconditional love and care you give me, I Thank you for teaching me to love and to give respect to everyone. Thank you for cooking food for me at 5a.m. in the morning and making sure I eat well before leaving for my classes. Thank you for taking care of me while I was sick. I love you so much Maa.” – Sara Maharjan
